Alan Margulies, CPA has more than 45 years of public and corporate tax and accounting experience. His background in taxes include tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals, representation before Federal and State taxing authorities on all tax matters, representation of attorneys before NJ Office of Attorney Ethics, advising clients on retirement planning, business sales and business acquisitions. His background in the corporate sector includes positions as corporate treasurer and director of taxes, where he worked closely with lending institutions and foreign subsidiaries.

Alan has been a lecturer for Foundation for Accounting Education, NYS Society of CPA’s and Seton Hall Tax Conference. He has authored articles published in the CPA and he is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants..

Scott Englehart

Scott Englehart

Scott Englehart, CPA has been practicing public accounting for over 25 years. He has been a certified public accountant since 1998. He has been licensed individually in New Jersey since 1998 and in Florida since 2005. Scott has extensive experience preparing individual, corporation, partnership, trust, estate, and not-for- profit tax returns.

Prior to his relocation back to New Jersey in 2010, Scott lived in Florida for 10 plus years. During this time, he worked for a small firm and was the lead tax manager for the tax side of the practice. Although his primary office is now in New Jersey, he has maintained strong relationships with clients in Florida and frequently returns to the area to service these clients.

Scott graduated with honors from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1996. He received his MBA from Regis University with honors in 2009. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 
Anthony Veneziale

Anthony Veneziale

Anthony Veneziale has been practicing public accounting since 1995. He held a partner level position at another firm in New Jersey for 7 years prior to the formation of Margulies,Englehart & Veneziale,LLC in 2013. Anthony has extensive experience preparing individual, corporation, partnership, trust and not-for-profit tax returns. In the past, Anthony has managed certified audits, reviews and compiled financial statements for clients in various industries. Those industries include, but are not limted to, construction, trade associations, 401K plan audits, various non-profit organizations, HVAC contractors and various suppliers and distributors. He was also involved in the review and inspection of the firm’s files in order for the firm to successfully complete peer review.

Anthony graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1995. He is a member of the Hunterdon County of Commerce Leadership Hunterdon class of 2013.

Anthony currently serves as the co-chair of the Leadership Hunterdon Alumni Board. He previously served as a treasurer and executive board of a local not-for-profit.

 

Doreen Duffy

Doreen Duffy has been working with Alan Margulies and practicing tax accounting since 1980. She has extensive experience with preparing individual and corporate tax returns, providing bookkeeping and payroll services, and dealing with federal and state tax issues with government agencies.
